Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on 18 November 1985, in Los Angeles. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, and the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix realized early on that she had an aptitude in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition and placing in the top two in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for a professional career with Adidas in 2003, and after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. Felix set a Junior World Record by running 200 metres in 22.18 second. She became the youngest world champion in the 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium in her various races in the Olympics that took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
