Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was born August 26 in 2002. He is known as Lil Tecca. The release of "Ransom," his 2019 single, helped him to become a household name. His debut mixtape"We Love You Tecca (2019) included the track. It peaked at #4 on the US Billboard 200. The mixtape also featured the singles "Love Me" and "Did It Again". His debut studio album called"Virgo" (2020), debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. It also included the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singles "Dolly" & "When You Down". His second mixtape "We Love You Tecca 2" came out in August 2021. It featured "Repeat It" and "Lot of Me". Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe is a Jamaican native, immigrated to the United States in Queens on August 26, 2002. Sharpe was born in Queens' Springfield Gardens, after which he moved to Cedarhurst on Long Island. From an early age, Sharpe had aspirations of being in the NBA However, around 12 years old Sharpe began to turn his attention to pursue a career in music. Sharpe completed his studies at Lawrence High School. Tecca was nine years old age when he began to rap over his Xbox. The two would create diss tracks on one another. One of them was uploaded on SoundCloud several years ago, however it has since been removed. In the beginning when he was a kid, he did not have any plans to pursue music a living and instead , he envisioned becoming an NBA star. But, during the middle of his schooling, he lost interest in basketball and began to consider taking music more seriously. His first song to become famous, "Tectri", was composed in partnership with Lil Gummybear and released in the beginning of 2017. Some of the tracks he was working on include "Callin". The career of Tecca began a year later when he released the smash single "Ransom", which was posted to Cole Bennett's Lyrical Lemonade YouTube channel on May 22nd in 2019. The song reached the top spot at 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has received more than 990 million views on Spotify and over 300 million views on YouTube.
