Megan Denise Fox was born on the 16th of May 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and was raised in Rockwood, Tennessee to Gloria Darlene Tonachio (nee Cisson) as a real estate professional as well as Franklin Thomas Fox, a parole officer. At the age 5 she began her dance and drama classes. At 10 years old she relocated to Port St. Lucie (Florida) where she finished her studies. Megan began modeling and acting at age 13 after she won several awards during the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina. At the age of 17, she moved to Los Angeles, California. Then she transferred from correspondence school. Megan's first movie role was Brianna Wallace in Holiday in the Sun (2001) as part of a Mary-Kate-Olsen/Ashley Olsen film. Her best known roles are as Sam Witwicky's love-interest, Mikaela Banes in Transformers (2007) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) and as April O'Neil in the film reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and its sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016).Ranked as #68 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest women in the World 2006" supplement. Maxim magazine's Hot 100 Women of 2007 ranks her at #18. Her ancestry is predominantly English, with small amounts of Scottish, German, and Scots-Irish (Northern Irish), and distant French and Welsh. Megan's six times great-grandmother, Mary Powhatan, was said to be of the Powhatan Native American tribe; In this case, it would make Megan from 1/256 Native American ancestry.
